The Florida Democratic Party's 2007 State Convention is coming up: Friday, October 26, through Sunday, October 28, at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Convention Center in Lake Buena Vista, FL.

This is the biggest, most exciting event the Party does every four years!

With more than 3,000 confirmed delegates already (and some exciting guests you'll be hearing about soon!), this year's Convention promises to be the biggest in recent history.

As a delegate to the 2007 State Convention, you'll have access to free campaign training from some of the nation's top political experts and inspiring speeches from great Democratic leaders. You'll also get to mix and mingle with your elected officials and other fellow Democrats from across the state.

We will launch a website dedicated to the State Convention very soon. Stay tuned for updates.

ACCOMMODATIONS
If you would like to stay at Disney World during the Convention, please book your rooms as soon as possible. The main hotel (Yacht & Beach Club Resort) is sold out, but rooms are still available for delegates at the nearby Caribbean Beach Resort at the discounted rate of $139+tax/night. Mears Transportation will be providing shuttle service between the Convention Center and Caribbean Beach from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. Once the Caribbean Beach Resort rooms sell out, there will be no more rooms available at a discounted rate. Please call (407) 934-3372 to book today.

Note: If you are not staying at either the Yacht & Beach Club or the Caribbean Beach, please watch your mail for passes so you don't have to pay to park during the Convention. There will be a designated Epcot Parking Lot throughout the weekend, with shuttle service to the Convention.
