Crist Said Idea Similar To Davis's Hurricane Plan "Has Merit."  Referring to the House Democrats' idea to create a statewide windstorm pool, similar to Davis's plan, the Palm Beach Post reported, "Democrats have at least one Republican ally in this debate: Attorney General and gubernatorial hopeful Charlie Crist. ‘It probably will be better than what we have right now,' Crist said of Gelber's proposal in a recent interview."
