2009 Jefferson-Jackson Dinner

What:
The 2009 Jefferson-Jackson Dinner is the Florida Democratic Party's annual fundraising event.

This year, the Florida Democratic Party is honored to have Governor Tim Kaine as our featured guest and speaker.

Tim Kaine, the 70th Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, was elected DNC Chairman on January 21, 2009. As President Obama's selection for DNC Chairman, Gov. Kaine has declared that Democrats will continue to fight in all 50 states "now and forever." Gov. Kaine, fluent in Spanish from his community service as a missionary in Honduras, believes that every state, every region, every community, and every person matters. Under Governor Kaine's leadership, Virginia Democrats regained two U.S. Senate seats, a majority of Virginia's Congressional delegation, and control of the Virginia Senate, and delivered the Commonwealth of Virginia for President Obama, Virginia's first Democratic electoral votes in 44 years.

Purchase Tickets:

Tickets for the JJ are currently sold out. Please call us at 850-222-3411 for further information.

Individual dinner tickets can be purchased for $175, or $1750 for a table of ten. Members of County Democratic Executive Committees may purchase tickets and tables at a discounted rate, however, to receive the rate, the DEC must collect and submit the individual attendees' funds to the state party. This is the only way to guarantee your DEC is seated together.

Souvenir Journal Advertisements:
The Florida Democratic Party provides a complimentary souvenir journal to every dinner attendee. If you are interested in advertising in the journal, please complete and return the journal ad form with your camera-ready artwork.

All camera-ready artwork should be sent electronically to Elliott McCurry at emccurry@fladems.com by Friday, May 15th to reserve your space. Please return your journal ad form and payment by Friday, June 6th. If you do not have an ad design or if your artwork is not camera-ready, the Party can design one for you for an additional charge of $100. Acceptable file types include EPS, AI, PDF, JPG or TIF, and should be 300 DPI. Please ensure fonts are created to outlines, or the fonts are supplied. Vendors/Candidates:
A limited number of vendor tables are available for placement in the hallway outside the dinner hall. This is a great opportunity to showcase your product, service or candidacy. The vendor table costs $500 and includes table rental and a shared vendor storage room.
