Each County's Supervisor of Elections has different rules for voting by mail. Scroll down to your county for more information on the absentee ballot/vote-by-mail request procedures available for your county.
New state law requires your local supervisor of elections to send you an absentee ballot for every election leading up to 2010 if you ask for it. We highly encourage you to sign up through 2010 so you'll have the added convenience of receiving ballots year round.
After you've requested your absentee ballot, please use the form below to enter your information so we can mark you down as having requested your ballot.
This form does not actually submit a request to your Supervisor of Elections. To properly request that your ballot be sent to you, you must contact your local Supervisor.

Why should I vote by mail?
It's important to understand that you never need an excuse to vote by mail, rather absentee ballots allow you to forgo the line and the time spent at your local precinct on Election Day. Voting by mail through absentee ballots is the very best way to make sure you participate in every election.
It's important because doing so allows the Florida Democratic Party and the many Democrats running for office to count on your vote long before Election Day. We can then target our outreach efforts more effectively and reach a greater number of potential voters.
Campaign experts will tell you that elections are won and lost with absentee ballots. Republicans have been using this system to their advantage for too long. It's time we balanced that part of the playing field.
